We need to look after the environment for today's and future generations. Our Town Belt and natural environment are vital to our city’s personality. Protection and enhancement is key.

• Make Wellington pest-free. Enhance our bird and bush life, leveraging partnerships to seek a pest-free status for the City.
• Trial electric cars to better understand the economic and  environmental benefits and help facilitate the installation of appropriate infrastructure for charging.
• Enhance public transport options.
• Find new ways to enhance our beaches & public spaces.
• Improve the City's resilience and operate Council in an efficient and sustainable way to minimise the impact on our environment.
